JOE DEVERA

Born in the Philippines, Joe is a former US Marine who recently received his MFA in painting and printmaking from the Yale School of Art. He currently serves as adjunct lecturer at California State University, Fullerton, and Whittier College.

IRENE IMFELD

Irene is an accomplished printer of digital photographs. She is the 2014 First Prize winner in FAUNA, sponsored by PhotoAlliance, San Francisco juried by William Wegman. She is co-owner and curatorial director of PHOTO gallery in Oakland, California

ERIKA MAHR

Picture
As an artist, Mahr considers herself a minimalist and admits to being influenced by the works of 20th-century minimalists such as Donald Judd, Agnes Martin and Sol LeWitt. Mahr received an M.F.A. from Hunter College and her B.F.A from the University of Florida. She currently lives and works in Queens, NY

CHLOE MANASSEH

Chloe recently completed her MFA from Slade School of Fine Art in London. Her paintings and video work have been shown internationally, including Israel, Malaysia, Italy and the U.S. Her practice focuses on how orientation, movement and balance within a space affect spectatorship.

JASON MITCHAM

Jason received a Master of Fine Arts in the Painting and Drawing Department at the School of Art + Art History at the University of Florida in 2005. Currently living in New York and known primarily as painter, Jason's work has expanded into the realm of video, creating stop-motion animations from paintings. 

ALISON STIGORA

Alison received her MFA from Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. She is Adjunct Professor, Sculpture/3D Foundations, St. Josephs University, Philadelphia. She is known for towering installations, drawings and paintings, which highlight the relationship between humans and the natural environment.

DEVIN SYMONS

Based in Washington, DC, Devin received his MFA in Creative Writing from American University. He is an editor of Folio, a national journal of literature and the arts from American University. Devin is currently preparing his first book of short stories for publication.

MATHEW TOM

Since 2011, Mathew Tom has through videos, photographs and paintings been describing a fictional spiritual community called Society of Friends. It is a reflection of his ideas of utopian society turned dystopian through boredom, vanity and a desire to believe. Following ideas of Psychoanalysis, Mathew has structured his works between the different levels of the mind. Painting represent the unconscious (i.e. the surreal, the true mind), the videos the superconscious (i.e. the mind affected by supernatural influences) and photographs the conscious (normal world).
