Residency property yucca fibre blend paper chine-colle with intaglio printed Taiwanese gampi paper mounted on archival paper.
Edward created each print using leftover gampi prints and yucca paper fiber from his installation art piece at JTHAR. Each print has a pencil-written lyric line from the 1930s Taiwanese folk song Sorrowful Moon, which depicts one's grief for lost loved ones while walking under the moonlight at night. The song plays on a loop at the Taipei National Human Rights Museum, located in the former Jing-Mei prison camp, where democracy activists were jailed or later executed from 1967 to 1991.
